Relationship between Molecular formula and Empirical formula

                 Relationships between   Molecular Formula and Empirical formula as follow

Molecular Formula = n x Empirical formula

n = Molecular Formula/ Empirical formula

The   molecule  of  benzene  having  molecular  mass  as 78 µ.

Hence n = n= Molecular Formula  / Empirical formula

                    =78µ/(12+1)µ

                    =78/13

                   =6
Molecular formula of benzene is 6 x (CH ) =C6H6

Molecular Formula

Empirical formula

C2H6
CH3
C2H4
CH2
B2H6
BH3
