Solve


Molar mass M of KMnO4  = 1x39+1x55+4x16

                                               =( 39+55+64 ) mol-1

Mass of 1 mole of  KMnO4   =158g

Number of moles ( n ) KMnO4   =0.1

Formula


n=m/M

m=nM

Then the mass of 0.1 moles of KMnO4   = 0.1x158

                                                                 =15.8g
